The judgment was delivered by Tribunal chairman, Danladi Umar on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.
“I hereby seize, on behalf of the federal government, the property known as plot 2057,” Danladi held.
“The prosecution proved its case beyond reasonable doubt, and all evidence tendered are admitted,” he added.
Orubebe had been charged with the offence after being accused by the federal government.
The former minister made headlines in 2015 for his dramatic outburst during the collation of presidential election results.
Orubebe refused to release the microphone he was holding and accused the former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega of bias.
