Olubadan Why Oba Odulana wasnt buried in St. Peter’s Cathedral

A family source reportedly disclosed that the late monarch had clearly stated in his will that his remains be interred in the Odulana family compound.

Fresh reasons have surfaced on why the late Olubadan, Oba Samuel Odulana was buried in his family compound situated in Igbo Elerin area of Ibadan as against St. Peter’s Cathedral, Aremo, Ibadan.

Punch reports that a family source disclosed that the late monarch had clearly stated in his will that his remains be interred in the Odulana family compound.

Earlier in the month after the news of the Olubadan's death was announced, it has been reported in several mediums and believed that the late monarch would be interred at the St. Peter’s Cathedral, Aremo, Ibadan.

The late Olubadan was buried on Friday, February 12, 2015 amidst pomp and glee with top dignitaries that include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode, Gov. Abiola Ajimobi and others in attendance.
