Buhari receives ex-president at the Villa

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday, June 3, 2016 visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

 

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday, June 3, 2016 visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential, Abuja.

The Nation reports that the former Head of State arrived the Villa in the company of Otumba Johnson Fasawe around 12.30 p.m.

Although details of the visit was not disclosed, there are speculations that a major topic of their discussion would be the recent attacks on oil facilities by militants in the Niger Delta and recent threat by the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF).

This is the fifth time the former president would be visiting Buhari since his inauguration.

Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media made shared pictures from the visit on his twitter handle.

Earlier in the day, President Buhari received in audience the Primate and Archbishops of the Church of Nigeria at the State House.
