US President, Barack Obama, on Monday, August 3, 2015, embraced Nigerian disability-rights activist, Grace Alache Jerry during a meeting in Washington DC.

Grace was one of the participants at the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) summit which held in the US capital.

500 people, described as Sub-Saharan Africa’s ‘most promising young leaders,’ were invited on the YALI platform by the U.S. State Department for the three-day summit.
