Niger Delta Avengers Militants blow up AGIP's trunk line in Bayelsa

The damage on the Agip's major crude oil Line in Bayelsa State is coming hours after a Shell Petroleum oil facility in was reportedly blown.

The men of the Niger Delta Avengers have claimed responsibility for damage of the Obi Obi Brass Trunk line belonging to Agip ENI.

The damage on the Agip's major crude oil Line in Bayelsa State is coming hours after a Shell Petroleum oil facility in was reportedly blown.

In the militant's latest tweet on Friday, June 10, 2016, the militants claims responsibility for the damage while commending the international community for halting crude oil business transactions with Nigeria.

In one of the tweets, the militants wrote,  "3:am of Friday NDAvengers blow up the Obi Obi Brass Trunk line belonging to Agip ENI. It is Agip's Major Crude oil Line in Bayelsa State."

The militants, who have continued to negatively impact on the production of crude oil in  Nigeria, also tweeted.

"It a good as foreign refineries stop buying Nigerian oil because the Nigerian State has been robbing the Niger Delta of her Oil and Gas. We will inform the international communities when we are open for business." the twitter handle tweeted on Friday, June 10, 2016.

 

The incessant attacks on crude oil production sites is increasingly affecting the production of Nigerian oil production despite pleas by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and the Federal Government to open dialogue with the Niger Delta Avengers.

Niger Delta Avengers have been responsible for the vandalisation of several oil facilities situated in Warri, Delta and Bayelsa states since the commencement of what the group's spokesman, Mudock Agbinibo and coordinator, General Torunanawei, tagged emancipation of the people of Niger Delta.
