In a statement sent by the Head of Corporate Affairs/General Service, Okey Nwaka the event which will hold at the Neimeth corporate head of office, will kick off the CSR program aimed at addressing the high prevalence of the “silent killer” (hypertension) in the locality.
The program is expected to cater for members of the Industrial Tenants Community, men of the Police Service, Isokoko station, Ashade market men and women, Guinness, GTB, Mobil gas station, Triumphant Church and, indeed, the general public.
Nwaka further urged the general public to take advantage of this CSR programme to measure their BP regularly and receive free medication for 2 months and thereafter, avail themselves of the anti-hypertensives at 50% of the shelf price.
