Nasarawa government purchases bedding materials worth N222m for schools

Tukur said that the initiative was part of the state government efforts at ensuring a conducive environment for students to learn.

He said that the Al-Makura-led administration considered education very critical and would always accord the sector the needed attention.

“Education is a top most priority of the present administration and will ensure that all necessary facilities and infrastructure needed are provided to our schools across the state,” Tukur said.

According to him, apart from the beds and mattresses, the state government will also distribute 38,000 furniture and other instructional materials to all schools.

He called on the people of the state to support the Al-Makura-led administration to deliver more democracy dividends for the benefit of all.
