Agency to fumigate 6,000 structures in Dambam LGA
The Executive Secretary of the agency said that the exercise was aimed at reducing the menace of malaria in the state.

The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Mansur Dada, stated this at the flag–off of the exercise on Saturday in Dambam, Bauchi.
He said that the exercise was aimed at reducing the menace of malaria in the state, adding that the spray would last for six days.
“The exercise is a collaboration between the Federal Government and Bauchi state Government which is also a pilot exercise.
“The exercise will also in later time be conducted in the remaining 19 LGAs with the same aim of reducing the burden of malaria,’’ he said.
The Dambam Caretaker Chairman, Mr Mohammed Jauro, commended the agency for selecting Dambam for the pilot exercise of the spray.
Also, the representative of the district head of Dambam, Alhaji Lamido Idris, appreciated the agency for selecting and training Dambam youths for the exercise.
