Late ex-minister buried in Kano

Sule died in the early hours of Monday in Cairo, Egypt, shortly after he arrived the country for treatment.

Dozens of sympathisers flooded the funeral which held in Kano State.

Dignitaries, including Malam Abba Kyari, who represented President Muhamadu Buhari was in attendance.

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Deputy Governor Hafiz Abubakar and the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II attended the funeral.

Also in attendance were Senate President Bukola Saraki, Minister of Interior, Abdurrahman Danbazau; Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi.

Others are, Minister of Water Resources, Sulaiman Adamu; Minister of Defence, MansurDan’ali and Accountant-General of the Federation Alhaji Ahmed Idris; Governors Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Mohammed Abubajar (Bauchi); Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto); and Kashim Shettima (Borno) among others.

The deceased was also a former permanent representative of Nigeria to the United Nations.
