Mrs. Botoku had ordered that they be remanded on March 11, 2016, following a request by the police.
The Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode, also sealed off the construction site, where the five-storey building collapsed.
Anbode also asked the residents to vacate the estate, because of the government's plan to conduct stability tests on all buildings constructed by the real estate company.
Reports say the residents have refused to relocate.
Comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as, AY, in a post shared on his Instagram page also joined the list of Nigerians who have expressed their support for the Lekki Gardens Real Estate owner, Richard Nyong.
