Judge tasks junior lawyers on respect, hard work
Adejumo gave the advice in open court on Friday, when a junior lawyer, Mr Samuel Chukwu, expressed delight at appearing before the judge for the first.

Chukwu was among the lawyers call to the bar in November 2016.
Chukwu, who was elated for appearing before the judge, commended the efforts of the president in elevating labour laws in Nigeria.
The president in turn, urged him and all other young lawyers to cultivate the habit of hard work in order to preserve through the hurdles of litigation.
”The law profession is a very tasking job; you must read a lot as a lawyer and even more so as a judge."
”I encourage young lawyers to work very hard; you must know the law and the rules of court, once you understand these, your cases will be easy."
”Also respect your seniors; you can learn from your seniors,” he said.
While wishing the lawyer the best in his career, Adejumo gave him a copy of the National Industrial Court Civil Procedure Rules 2017 for free to aid his understanding of labour matters.
