APC chairman is a man of dignity and honour – Group says

The group’s Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa said the party has made more progress under Oyegun’s leadership.

Oyegun was recently slammed by the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, who called for his resignation.

Also Timi Frank, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC,has been at loggerheads with the party Chairman.

A group known as the APC United Front has come out to show support for Oyegun, while dismissing calls for his resignation.

The group’s Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa, in a statement said the party has made more progress under Oyegun’s leadership.

Musa also praised the APC Chairman for letting party democracy take its place, adding that he has led the party well.

He said “Chief Odigie Oyegun is not under the influence of a powerful and sinister arm of government. He will never thwart the will of the people.

“Leadership goes with creativity, sensitivity, compassion, innovation, courage, vision, character, competence, focus, passion, responsibility, self-discipline, service delivery and a very high dosage of patriotism. Oyegun is an embodiment of transparency and accountability.”

Despite calls for his resignation, Oyegun has said that he will not disrespect Tinubu.
