Ndoma-Egba mourns late Senator

The NDDC Chairman expressed deep sympathy to the immediate family, people and government of Osun State over Adeleke’s death.

Ndoma-Egba said this in a statement issued by Mrs Clara Braide, Special Assistant, Communication Office of the Chairman Governing Board of NDDC, on Tuesday in Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN), recalls that Adeleke died at Bikets Hospital in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, after suffering a heart attack according to family sources.

Ndoma-Egba described Adeleke, who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC ),Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, as a detrabalised Nigerian, a democrat, astute grassroots politician and philanthropist who distinguished himself in all positions of service.

” The history of Osun State would be incomplete without reference to his indelible contributions to the State’s development at social, political and economic levels when he served as its first elected Governor and a legislator.

“With the death of Senator Adeleke, Nigeria has indeed lost an illustrious son whose wealth of experience was still needed as the present administration works to restore the country to path of progress,” he said.

Ndoma-Egba, however, said he is consoled by the fact that the late Adeleke lived an accomplished and impactful life.

He prayed the Almighty God to give the late Adeleke eternal rest and the family, the strength to bear the great loss.
