Gunmen kill Commissioner’s brother

Unidentified gunmen in Rivers State have killed the brother of the Commissioner of Power, Austin Wokocha.

Samson Orike was gunned down on Monday, March 23 in the Okposi Onelga community of the state, Channels reports.

The attackers were said to have invaded the Wokocha’s home dressed in military uniform.

They also reportedly burnt down houses in the area during the attack which is believed to have been politically motivated.

The police in the state have confirmed the incident saying that it was sparked by a rivalry between two parties.
