Deputy Speaker says proposed LCDAs will engender rapid development
According to him, the LCDAs will bring efficiency in service delivery through redistribution of workers and enhanced revenue generation initiatives.

Oluomo told journalists in Abeokuta that the bill on the proposal was currently before the assembly, adding that when passed, would also promote efficiency and widen the revenue base of the state.
"The bill for a law to amend The Local Government Law of Ogun State, 2002, is currently before the house and we will do our bit to scrutinise it before passage," he said.
Oluomo called for the support of all citizens towards the success of the LCDAs when created, saying that it would bring governance closer to the people.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Gov. Ibikunle Amosun had on March 10 sent a bill to the House of Assembly proposing the creation of 37 LCDAs in addition to existing 20 council areas in the state.
