The state Police Command Public Relation Officer, Ismaila Umar-Numan, stated this on Tuesday in Keffi in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

NAN recalls that some angry youths were alleged to have stoned the governor’s convoy and called him names during the late Emir’s burial.

“The police will continue to maintain law and order in the state considering the importance of peace to the socio-economic development of the state and the country at large," he said.
