An ex-convict, Tunde Agoro, who stole a Bajaj Motorcycle valued at N80,000 belonging to one Thomas Omisore, was on Thursday April 2, arraigned at an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos.

The 18-year-old had just finished serving a five-year-jail term before he was caught in possession of a stolen motorcycle.

Agoro, 18, who gave no fixed address, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Agoro, who had just finished serving a five-year-jail term, was caught in possession of a stolen motorcycle.
The prosecutor, DSP Etim Nkankuk, had earlier told the court that the accused and others now at large, committed the offences on April 1, at 1:00 a.m., at the Railway Quarters, Yaba.
Nkankuk said the accused had stolen a Bajaj motorcycle with Reg. No. QJ 373 FKJ valued at N80, 000 property of one Thomas Omisore.
The prosecutor noted that the offences contravened Sections 285 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The chief magistrate, A.O. Adelaja, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
She further adjourned the case till April 9, for mention.
