2 injured in fire outbreak at international airport

Two technicians were injured in the blaze, which erupted on Wednesday, April 5, at the airport’s fuel drop site.

According to witnesses, two technicians were injured in the blaze, which erupted on Wednesday, April 5, at the airport’s fuel drop site.

The technicians were trying to quench the fire when they got injured, Associated Press reports.

“The fire has raged for twenty minutes now and as I speak to you fire service personnel have deployed enough tanks to contained the emergency,” a witness, Hajiya  Bintu told Vanguard.

The incident is yet to be confirmed by airport authorities.
