Govt to construct 50mw solar plant in Igabi LG

Hussaini said the construction of the solar power plants would boost the economic growth of the state and the country at large.

Ibrahim Hussaini, Director-General, Kaduna Geographic Information Services (KADGIS), made this known in a statement issued in Kaduna on Thursday.

Hussaini said the construction of the solar power plants would boost the economic growth of the state and the country at large, especially for the smooth running of companies and individual businesses.

He said that KADGIS had carried out an assessment and evaluation of economic trees on the proposed site and the state government had already paid N200 million as compensation to land owners.
