Troops nab suspected Boko Haram member in Borno
The Army spokesman has said the Nigerian troops have nabbed a suspected member of the Boko Haram sect.

Usman said on Monday that the arrest of the suspect followed tip off, adding “Nuhu is currently being interrogated.”
“Similarly, at about 5.43 p.m. yesterday – Sunday, three women suspected to be spouses of wanted Boko Haram terrorists and logistics suppliers were arrested at Miringa market by vigilante members in the town,” Usman said.
He added the vigilante members had handed the women to troops and were also being investigated.
In a related development, Usman said that troops of 33 Brigade, Nigerian Army, deployed at Forward Operation Base (FOB), Bauchi, killed five suspected kidnappers at Dutsen Makurdi in Ningi Local Government Area.
He said that the killing followed an exchange of gunfire between the suspects and troops.
According to the army spokesman, three dane guns and other dangerous weapons were recovered from the suspects.
