The committee is to be chaired by Capt. M.A.Ningi, while Alhaji Hassan Yelwa, a Deputy Director in the State Emergency Management Agency, will serve as Secretary.

NAN reports that for the past one week, petroleum products had become scarce in the state, leading to the re-emergence of long queues in petrol filling stations.

This week, the state governor, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar and his deputy, Malam Nuhu Gidado, had to pay surprise visit to some stations, where they discovered sharp practices.
