Buhari receives Benin Republic President [PHOTOS]

The President of Benin Republic, Boni Yayi is on a working visit to Nigeria and met with Buhari at the State House in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, today, December 8, 2015, received his Benin Republic counterpart, Boni Yayi.

Yayi is on a working visit to Nigeria and met with Buhari at the State House in Abuja.

The President of Benin Republic had visited Nigeria in August for a one-day visit to participate in talks on ending the Boko Haram insurgency.

Benin is expected to contribute 800 soldiers to the joint force against the sect which will also include troops from Cameroon, Niger and Chad.
