President’s cousins abducted in Bayelsa

Patience Egbeni and Kate Eni were kidnapped on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 by about 6 gunmen in Bayelsa State.

Two cousins of President Goodluck Jonathan have been abducted in Bayelsa State, reports say.

Patience Egbeni and Kate Eni were kidnapped on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 by about 6 gunmen, according to The Nation.

The incident is said to have occurred at about 8:30am at Akimpelai in the Ogbia Local Government Area of the state.

“The victims are two maternal cousins of the President. We know that they have been preparing to welcome the President after the May 29 handover. Unless they are rescued before then, their dream of welcoming their brother will be a mirage,” a source said.
