Ex President’s uncle freed by kidnappers

GEJ’s uncle had earlier been kidnapped sometime in 2014, but was released by the Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation Pulo Shield, at Akipli Community.

 

A spokesperson for the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said “The victim has been released and reunited with his family but I am yet to get the detail.”

Reports said GEJ’s uncle had earlier been kidnapped sometime in 2014, but was released by the Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation Pulo Shield, at Akipli Community.

Meanwhile, former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said he does not regret helping ex-President Goodluck Jonathan to become President.

Also top politicians in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have threatened to expose GEJ, if the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrests them.

Jonathan said he decided to concede defeat during the March 28, 2015 elections, because he already knew what the outcome of the polls would be.
