Rep member kidnapped in Kaduna

Garba Durbunde was reportedly kidnapped at Jere, Kaduna state while returning from Kano.

The lawmaker was reportedly whisked away at Jere, Kaduna state while returning from Kano.

Durbunde’s aide who confirmed the incident however said the abductors were yet to contact his family members or friends.

“I can confirm to you that Honourable Durbunde is nowhere to be found at the moment,” he said.

“We are yet to establish his whereabouts or get a clue from his abductors but we have informed all the relevant security agencies about the incident,” the aide added.

The aide who craved anonymity noted that the State Security Service is investigating the incident.
