The Ekiti Governor also told anyone interested in rearing cows to get a ranch for that purpose.

The latest reaction from the Governor of Bauchi state, Mohammed Abubakar condemned Fayose for his comments about the Fulani herdsmen
Abubakar said “In a democracy, provisions have been made for anybody that is aggrieved with anything in the country to seek redress. Instead of resorting to making such public pronouncements, there are laid down laws to follow.
“On this matter, I am gladdened with efforts of both the presidency and the national assembly which is conducting public hearings with a view to putting an end to such incessant and senseless killings.”
Fayose gave an order to hunters in the state to protect themselves, if attacked by the Fulani herdsmen, after two residents were killed by the cattle rearers.
The Ekiti Governor also told anyone interested in rearing cows to get a ranch for that purpose.
The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) and the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere commended Governor Fayose for his action against the herdsmen.
