Abdullahi Dikko Former Customs boss caught with 17 stolen cars walks free

A Federal High Court in Kaduna has dismissed the government's case against former Comptroller-General (CG) of Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko who was caught with 17 stolen vehicles.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had recovered the vehicles at a warehouse belonging to Dikko on Nnamdi Azikiwe Street in Kaduna on February 20, 2017.

The agency had searched the premises after being informed that "proceeds of crime" were being stored in the warehouse.

On February 24, Justice S.M Shuaibu gave the order for the interim forfeiture of the vehicles to the Federal Government.
