"Train your kids to understand recession," Oyo first lady tells women

Mrs Florence Ajimobi has urged women in Oyo state to train their children in understanding the current economic recession.

Ajimobi made this call in Ibadan when she distributed foodstuff to the less privileged under her pet project, “The Ajumose Food Bank,” in seven Local Government Areas of the state.

Ajimobi said: “Women must train their wards to understand the economic situation being experienced in the country in recent times.

“As women, I urged you to take proper care of your children by using what you have, especially in this trial period in Nigeria," she said.

This is coming despite several discourse on Gov Abiola Ajimobi's neglect in the state's educational sector in recent times.
