"I’ll work with people who won" - Minister

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Muhammad Musa Bello said he will work with people that won the recently conducted elections in all the area councils.

The minister gave the assurance when the officials of the FCT Press Corps led by its Chairman, Mr.Ikharo Attah met with him on Monday, April 18, 2016 in his office at Area 11, Garki I District, Abuja.

“The FCT Administration under my leadership would work very closely with all the elected Council officials irrespective of political parties they belong to, in order to bring rapid development to the Area Councils of the Territory,” Bello said.

While reiterating the government of President Buhari’s commitment toward building its change mantra, added that they would entrench good governance at the grassroots level.

“We will interface with all the elected officials at the local level to bring development to the grassroots where majority of the people reside,” he stressed.

The Chairman, FCT Press Corps, Mr. Ikharo Attah commended the Minister for the exemplary way he managed the recent FCT Area Council’s election that was devoid of any skirmishes.
