Shekarau explained further that rushed cases fail because proper investigation was not conducted.

He made the comments on Monday, April 17, while speaking to journalists in Sokoto.
“If you rush a thing, it would ultimately crash. The anti-graft agency lost the cases because it was in a hurry to prosecute the cases without conducting proper investigation,” he said according to Daily Trust.

Shekarau, a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also expressed his support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption.
