Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, revealed this while he was speaking at a press briefing on the 2017 World Teachers' Day in Abuja on Tuesday, October 3.
The minister asked those present at the event to pray for the recovery of his colleague who had recently been spotted wearing a cervical collar at a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting two weeks ago.
"Please permit me to ask us to say a minute prayer for the Minister of State who is away in the U.S to receive medical treatment for an illness," he said.
