Media entrepreneur arrested in Lagos, released shortly after

News of Chude’s alleged arrest was reported by popular activist, Japheth Omojuwa via Twitter.

According to reports, Chude Jideonwo, the founder of Red Media Africa, has been arrested in the Yaba area of Lagos State.

“Chude Jideonwo has been arrested by the Nigerian government. He recently endorsed opposition candidate Gen. Buhari for the presidency,” Omojuwa tweeted.

Chude has publicly supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and his partner, Adebola Williams has been linked with Buhari’s campaign.

Update:

Chude Jideonwo has been set free by the police.

"Thanks guys! All is well. God bless you!" he said via Twitter confirming his release.
