Chibok Girls Osinbajo receives rescued girls in Abuja

Osinbajo met with the rescued Chibok girls on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently in Germany.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has met the rescued 21 Chibok girls in the Aso Villa on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

Osinbajo met the rescued Chibok girls on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently in Germany.

Earlier in the day, presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu made it known that the girls will be received by the Vice President.

Shehu had said the girls’ release follows negotiations between the government and the sect which were brokered by the Red Cross and the Swiss government.
