President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has informed those who criticize him for jailing them while he was a military ruler that he has also been jailed before.

Buhari made the comment on Monday, June 15, 2015, while speaking to Nigerians resident in South Africa, The Cable reports.

“This is my first time of attending these types of meetings (AU) and they go on and on until about 1 in the morning. And then you are supposed to start in the morning again. Everybody is repeating what the other speaker has said instead of to keep their mouth shut. Anyways, it is a great experience,” the President said.

Speaking of his prison experience he said:
