A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Rev. Chinecherem Olive, has called on the Presidency to stop the alleged persecution of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu and other members of the party.

According to Leadership newspaper, Olive warned that if President Muhammad Buhari does not stop the persecution of Saraki, Ekweremadu, PDP members, the Director, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and other innocent Nigerians, what happened to the ancient Biblical Egyptians and Israelites is about to happen in Nigeria.

He was said to have stated this while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday, July 11.

The cleric, who attempted to be Nigeria's president in 2003, disclosed that he had a revelation 31 years ago that he should be fasting and praying for the total liberation of Nigeria, Africa and the whole world in all areas.

He said Buhari should stop the killings of Nigerians and the taking of their lands by Fulani herdsmen.

Olive however expressed confidence in his ambition to become Nigeria's president, saying God promised him that the next President of Nigeria will come from the South-East and he would be the one, adding that he would bring peace and prosperity to the country.
