The rejection of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees has been thrown out by Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

Saraki vetoed the rejection of nominees by the members of the Senate after it was put to voice vote during a plenary on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Punch report says despite the obvious fact that the “nays” were more than the “ayes,” the Senate President ruled in favour of the “ayes.”
