President will restore discipline in Nigeria—APC chieftain

He said that with discipline, Nigerians should expect a new lease of life from the APC administration led by Buhari.

An APC Chieftain in South Africa, Mr Ken Dike, said on Thursday that President Muhammadu Buhari would restore discipline in Nigeria.

Dike, the Secretary of APC in Gauteng Province of South Africa, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Johannesburg that Buhari had on assumption of office indicated his administration`s determination to bring sanity to the country.

The chieftain said that though Buhari met enormous challenges, he was convinced that Nigeria would be restored to its glorious past.

"One thing is certain, it will be no longer be business as usual. Buhari has already stated that he has zero tolerance to corruption and all stake holders should assist to make this objective a reality.

"It is also hoped that once sanity has been restored to the system, Nigerians will start feeling the impact of the new administration," he said.

Dike urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the administration in its bid to rebuild the country.

"It is not an easy task. Buhari must start from somewhere in the task of providing democracy dividends and this cannot be done in a month.

" It is necessary that we give him all the support to move this country forward, but he has to start from some where," he said.
