President Muhammadu Buhari will, on Monday, November 7, pay a visit to Benin City, Edo State.

Buhari will be in the state capital for two days and will expectedly pay a visit to the new Oba of Benin.

The president will also commission the newly-built central hospital and Siluko road.

Buhari had earlier visited Benin on September 6, 2016, to campaign for current governor-elect and then All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Godwin Obaseki in preparation for the governorship elections in the state.

Obaseki won 319,483 votes to defeat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu who won 253, 173 votes.
