An American research-based, global performance-management consulting company, Gallup, Inc. recently embarked on a national survey to ascertain Nigerians' perception of President's Buhari's performance.
Opinions divided regarding President's performance so far
The President was scored poorly in the South-east and South-south zones.

Results from the polls say 7 out of 10 Nigerians feel the President is doing well.
A statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, reveals that the President was scored poorly in the South-east and South-south zones.
While the North-east, North-central and North-west, scored him high.
According to him, “Respondents mentioned that security has improved (20 percent), he has good intentions and he is good so far (16 per cent), and stability of electricity (15 per cent) among others as reasons for approving president’s performance after 30 days in office”In addition, the deteriorating power situation in the country seems to have improved by a whopping 27 points up to 44 per cent (June 2015) from 17 per cent (May 2015) as Nigerians claimed to have experienced more improvement in the month of June 2015."
He also added that “By contrast, only 17 percent of respondents acknowledged there is no improvement while 22 per cent stated that there is no difference at all in power supply in June 2015. “
