Kogi youths hail President over Ocheni’s ministerial nomination

The youths from Kogi state noted that President Buhari did not make a mistake by choosing Professor Ocheni as minister.

Ocheni who was screened by the Senate on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, is expected to serve as replacement for Late James Ocholi, the former minister of state for labour and employment.

In a solidarity match to the National Assembly, the youths described the choice of Ocheni by the President as apt.

Ahmed Asuku, leader of the group, noted that Buhari ‘did not make a mistake’ by choosing the professor as minister.

"We are here to show appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari who nominated professor Stephen Ocheni as a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria," Asuku said.

“The president did not make a mistake. He is a professor, he is someone that is intelligent and he is good, we believe that he (Buhari) has gone through his CV and has seen his capacity to deliver," he added.
