Terrorists kill 6 in Borno village

The incident is said to have occurred in Ladi Butai village in the Jere Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

The incident is said to have occurred in Ladi Butai village in the Jere Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, according to Sahara Reporters.

The terrorists reportedly invaded the village at about 9pm and opened fire on villagers.

The attack was confirmed by a Commander of Civilian Joint Task Force and a fleeing resident, Modu Baba who told Sahara Reporters that he managed to escape and trekked to Maiduguri.

The incident is yet to be confirmed by relevant military authorities.
