“They (insurgents) came on bicycle around 4am on Sunday morning while people were sleeping and started opening fire on the helpless civilian as the villagers fled into bushes but many were critical injured,” Youth vigilante leader, Istifanus Apagu told Punch.
“No lives were lost but the whole village was set ablaze and nothing was left standing. In fact, they went away with the six bicycles,” he added.
