Former Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosu

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly arrested former Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosu.

Amosu is said to have been arrested by the EFCC along with four others, according to Sahara Reporters.

Also, nine luxury homes have reportedly been linked with the former service chief.

His arrest is believed to be in connection with the ongoing $2.1 billion arms deal fraud probe.

President Muhammadu Buhari, earlier in the month, ordered the EFCC to probe Amosu and his colleague, former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Marshal Alex Badeh among others.

The scam is believed to have been supervised by former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services.
