A new name has come up as the owner of the Ikoyi apartment where $50m was discovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to Sahara Reporters, Patricia Edo-Osagie, the daughter of Late Mrs. Patricia Anenih is the alleged owner of the flat.

 

Late Mrs. Patricia Anenih was the second wife of the former Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Anthony Anenih.

Reports say Mrs. Anenih died after a protracted illness.

The Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that the money belongs to the Rivers state government.

Also, the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Saturday, April 15, 2017, denied ownership of the apartment.

Sources close to the presidency revealed that the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami will address the nation and shed light on who owns the money and the flat.
