First Lady distributes foodstuff to Women in Abuja

Aisha said she had not forgotten women who ''stood thick and thin'' to vote for change.

The Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, on Monday distributed foodstuff to Christian Women Association, Kubwa Chapter, Abuja, as part of activities to mark this year Christmas.

The wife of the president was represented by former Deputy Governor of Plateau, Mrs Paullen Tallen.

Aisha said she decided to share the items because Christmas was a season of sharing and exchanging pleasantries among Christians and other Nigerians

She urged women to give their children good upbringing according to the norms and values of the society.

The Coordinator of the association, Mrs Elizabeth Oyedele, in her speech, thanked the present administration for making the Christmas hitch-free.

She prayed for God guidance to enable the society feel the impact of the change they voted for and commended Aisha for remembering them.
