Former rep member donates 20 percent Polo Ranch proceeds to the poor

A two term house of rep member has pledged to donate part of the proceeds of his newly established Polo Ranch to the less privileged in society.

A former House of Representatives member, who represented Kokona/Keffi/Karu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Ahmed Wadada said he will donate 20 percent proceeds from his newly established polo club to the poor.

Wadada, who contested a senatorial seat under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general election but lost to the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Abdullahi Adamu, said his determination is to touch the lives of the less privileged.

Wadada stated this during his Polo Ranch inauguration in Keffi adding that Pollo game is of kings and it is also the king of all games.

“As we are all aware that sports can help in bridging the cultural, ethnic, religion and political divides, promote tolerance, peace; create job and advocates healthy life style, I want to touch the life of the less privilege through sport” he said.

The two terms House of Representatives member insisted that whatever money accruable at the end of every tournament, 20 per cent would be channel to the education of the less privileged members of the society through the Wadada Education Foundation.
