Responding, Jibrilla lauded the effective role of the religious leaders in nation building.

Jibrilla said the celebration of Christmas and Ed-el-Maulud at the same time this year was symbolic and should be used by leaders of both faiths to propagate peace, unity and tolerance.

He said his administration was committed to positive transformation of the state and would carry everybody along, irrespective of religion, tribe or political affiliation.
