3 alleged cult members remanded in prison for murder

The accused — Diekola Ibrahim, 19; Aderibigbe Amos, 21; and Yomi Olaosebikan, 19 — are facing a four- count charge bordering on conspiracy and murder.
The Magistrate, Mrs Habibatu Bashir, who gave the ruling, said the accused should be kept behind bars because of the magnitude of the offences.
The accused, according to the Prosecutor, Sgt. Sunday Ajayi, committed the offences on Aug.5 at 6.59 a.m. at old motor park area of Osogbo.
Ajayi said the accused conspired and killed a woman, Bintu Anifowose, a construction worker, who was trekking to her workplace.
He said the accused shot the deceased on the head for no just cause.
The offences contravened Sections 64(a), (b), 316, 324 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun, 2003.
The case was adjourned until Oct. 27 for mention.
