According to Olufemi Odubiyi, the Commissioner for Science and Technology, the state is set to deploy 13,000 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, and security sensors.

Speaking at a joint ministerial press briefing at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa, he said the total deployment, across the entire state, would be done within 16 to 18 months.

“There will be equitable distribution across the state and it will have a multiplier effect on business opportunities in the state as it continues to move toward a 24-hour economy,” he said.
