According to Amaechi, there is traffic because of the reliance on road transportation alone.

He said this present administration would solve this problem by investing in railway and water ways.

The minister was supported by Professor Bamidele Badejo, who delivered a paper on “Dimensions and Challenges of Sustainable transport Management.”

Badejo also spoke on how adequate investment in other modes of transportation, like railways and waterways, would help in managing traffic in the country.
